A spiky-leaved pineapple I grew in the farm (Local Brunei call it nanas manis), true to its name,   if harvested when its fully ripe, it will be very sweet.  Notice the spike leaves, guarding the fruit against the enemy; human.  It takes almost one year to get into this stage.
