On our short trip to Brisbane last week (end of Feb.), we make a long drive to Nut factory and Ginger factory at Yandina; an almost 2 hours drive from Brisbane for us.  This was not our usual holiday travel.  Masturina also joint the trip.

Although its called Nut Factory, actually it is a macademia factory.  All sort of macademia products are made here, product that you can eat, or  you would definitely want to eat, but cannot afford it!  But I was not feeling well, so the only corner I definitely go to in the factory was, the toilet.

There is a viewing platform in the factory.  Visitors can see firsthand some the process of preparing macademia nut product.

We spent a good 20 or so minutes, sampling the nuts (the popular sample is always runs out – the nut with honey), browsing the shelf, signing visitors book – Fadli make an entry, paying and admiring the products.  From here we rushed to Ginger Factory across the road.  Then rush back to Brisbane – Fadli has a lecture at 6pm.
